A completely different style of artbook that Iam accustomed to, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, quite the opposite actually. The dimensions are something i have never seen with any of the artbooks I got on my shelf, it's much wider than any other artbook I had come across and the style is completely different too. The artbook is a bit niggardly in terms of written word, but honestly, that isn't really the thing you're looking for in an artbook. The artbook contains quite a lot of art pieces and what really pleases me, only a small portion of the displayed art are paintovers, the vast majority of the art is candid. Shame there wasn't more character art, most of the art pieces are environmental art, but I loved every single piece, especially the part about the reimagined Empire Bay from Mafia 2, which is my favourite mafia game. Overall a mighty decent artbook that will be proudly stored on my shelf of artbooks. For a fan of the series this is a must, it's a full sized 160 page artbook, not that fake half assed artbook that was available in the collectors edition of the game which is only a 60 page tease.
